Professional Bio
Anekay Kelly completed her MSc in Medical Illustration from Augusta University's Graduate Program in 2021. She currently holds a position as a medical illustrator for the med-legal company MediVisuals Inc.
Preceding MediVisuals, she was a neurosurgical medical illustrator for Augusta University-Medical College of Georgia for 3 years. Simultaneously she served as an assistant instructor in Augusta University's Health Sciences Graduate Anatomy Lab.
This role provided her with an annual refresher on comprehensive human anatomy, thanks to the generous body donors. Anekay has also gained extensive experience by observing a diverse range of surgeries across various hospital departments.
Anekay's artistic versatility is evident in her work, covering surgical, editorial, anatomical, 2D and 3D animation, 3D sculpting, storyboarding, and didactic illustrations. Additionally, she possesses the capability to create scientific, and infographic illustrations. Anekay's guiding principles in her work revolve around originality, kindness, equality, diversity, and clarity.
